Oliver Family Genealogy (updated Dec 17, 2006 by Jerry Orange) The first records are of George Oliver born in Kentucky in 1890 and he died in Shelby County in Aug. 17, 1961 at the age of 71. He married Addie M. who born in about 1895 died in Jefferson County, Ky on March 19, 1969. In the 1930 Henry County, KY ( Pxxx Pleasant Road) census George (age 39) and Addie (age 36) appear with the following children. Both are shown as born in Kentucky. Both of George's parents were born in Kentucky with Addie's father born in Kentucky and mother in Missouri. 1. Isabell 18 2. John M. 17 3. Willana 14 (spelling?) 4. Wilson 12 5. Juanita 8 6. Caverlie 6 (spelling?) George and Addie also appear in the 1920 Henry County, KY census. George nor Addie are found in the 1900 or 1910 Henry County, KY census. Wilson Oliver's real name was Jewell Wilson Oliver. He was born May 24, 1917 in Eminence, KY ( Henry County) and his second marriage was to Dorothy Burch (born May 1, 1923 in Underwood, IN.). They were married April 1, 1953. They had the following children. 1. Vicki Jo - Nov. 6, 1954 ( Jeffersonville, IN) 2. Jackie Allen - May 13, 1963. ( Jeffersonville, IN) Wilson Oliver died May 13, 1991 in Jeffersonville, IN.
